“I have fed species greater than you, and I have starved species greater than you … I am
prepared to evolve. Are you?” asks “Mother Nature,” voiced by Julia Roberts
How would we react if Nature had a voice and told us just how it felt about the way we were treating it? What if through our thoughtlessness and carelessness we not only hurt Nature emotionally and physically, but also made Nature resent us? How would we feel if Nature told us “It could do without us, but we could not do without it?” This is what the campaign Nature Is Speaking by Conservation International has done in a series of short films voiced by some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
“Every living thing on this planet needs me,” states “The Ocean” voiced by Harrison Ford
Conservation International has given a voice to Nature; which allows us to hear and see what Nature would say to us if it could. In the short films Nature reveals serious misgivings about the way humans are treating the Earth from the viewpoint of Mother Nature to The Ocean and The Rainforest. The voices that help Nature to speak are the voices we know very well from Julia Roberts, Harrison Ford, Kevin Spacey, Edward Norton, Penelope Cruz, and Robert Redford. They give voice and feelings to a planet which is hurting.
“We thought the idea of giving nature a voice, nature having been around billions of years
longer than humans, might make it clear to all of us that the planet will evolve with or
without humans. It’s our choice,” By TBWA\MAL
Chairman, Lee Clow.
The Art Of Monteque would like to ask you to watch the short films and think about what is being said; then please join The Nature Is Speaking Campaign by helping raise money to protect nature for future generations. For every time you use #NatureIsSpeaking on social media platforms, HP will give $1 to Conservation International, up to $1 million. The Art of Monteque stands with Conservation International to fight for Mother Nature. Together with you can, we can achieve this!
