#Nature Is Speaking, Are you Listening?

MOTHERNATURE

“I have fed species greater than you, and I have starved species greater than you … I am
prepared to evolve. Are you?” asks “Mother Nature,” voiced by Julia Roberts

How would we react if Nature had a voice and told us just how it felt about the way we were treating it? What if through our thoughtlessness and carelessness we not only hurt Nature emotionally and physically, but also made  Nature resent us? How would we feel if Nature told us “It could do without us, but we could not do without it?”  This is what the campaign Nature Is Speaking by Conservation International has done in a series of short films voiced by some of the biggest names in Hollywood.

“Every living thing on this planet needs me,” states “The Ocean” voiced by  Harrison Ford

Conservation International  has given a voice to Nature;  which allows us to hear and see what Nature would say to us if it could. In the short films Nature reveals serious misgivings about the way humans are treating the Earth from the viewpoint of Mother Nature to The Ocean and The Rainforest.  The voices that help Nature  to speak are the voices we know very well from Julia Roberts, Harrison Ford, Kevin Spacey, Edward Norton, Penelope Cruz, and Robert Redford. They give voice and feelings to a planet which is hurting.

“We thought the idea of giving nature a voice, nature having been around billions of years
longer than humans, might make it clear to all of us that the planet will evolve with or
without humans. It’s our choice,” By TBWA\MAL
Chairman, Lee Clow.

The Art Of Monteque would like  to ask you to watch the short films and think about what is being said; then please join The Nature Is Speaking Campaign  by helping raise money to protect nature for future generations. For every time you use #NatureIsSpeaking on social media platforms, HP will give $1 to Conservation International, up to $1 million. The Art of Monteque stands with Conservation International  to fight for Mother Nature. Together with you can, we can achieve this!

Nature doesn’t need people. People need nature. That’s the message of our provocative, celebrity-studded campaign “Nature Is Speaking”. Our aim is to raise awareness that people need nature in order to survive. Our goal is simple: It’s time to change the conversation about nature to focus on what we all have in common: Our shared humanity.

  1. Nature has been under pressure for to long. Blatant disregard for the respect of nature, and greed has overwhelmed nature. The sad thing is, it would only take about 400 billion dollars to fix natures problems, but no; this will not happen in our time. Speaking up for the planet is a good cause; getting the leaders of the planet to do something is more or less a no go! Only a few have the power to make it right, but will they? The planet is hopeless with out this help, and so are we. If humanity spoke as loud as the planet, we would have half a chance to fix her giving soul, but we have no voice that can speak that loud, and if we did we would scream it out loud. We all need help, but Hollywood CAN NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM, AND HUMANITY HAS NO CHANCE, AND WILL NEVER HAVE A CHANCE, UNLESS OUR LEADERS DO SOMETHING.

    • Dear Earth Reeves,

Thank you for your comments. The earth will continue. It aways has and aways will. The thing is will we continue with the earth. The planet can and will heal itself. Nature always finds a way. It has done it many times, but it has also started over with new life many times. Humanity is now an endangered species because of our ignorance, arrogance and mistreatment of this beautiful planet. No, Hollywood can not fix it, but they can give voice to the problem and maybe stir the masses into demanding more of our world leaders. We believe in creating change for a better tomorrow and for the generations to come. For us we find our hope in the next generation, that is why we keep fighting … We do it for them. By the way it not up to the leaders to do something; it is up to the people. If you want change, then you create it! If you want to speak on behalf of the planet then you do so. We work at the grassroots level. Not form the top, because we feel that is where the real change will come. To You sir, I will say create the change you want to see, be the light for others to follow. It just takes one voice! One light in the darkness to light the way.

      Sincerely
