How the Drought Reflects and Effects Us.

Drought of the Spirit

Drought of the Spirit

Being a people watcher and a sensitive , the opportunity to watch and track the effects of this drought on us is fascinating and curious. Since 2009 there has been a shift in our consciousness, either we will open up or we completely close down. Here are my observations.

Many of us broke free and stepped our feet upon a Spiritual Journey which took us around the world of Spiritual ways and practices. From Native American to Buddhist all with the intention of opening our consciousness. I am one of the many who have been in the Sweat Lodge, up on the Pyramid and hiked miles of outback trails . And yes, my being woke to all the beauty each held sacred. Not one turned me away, I was welcomed with a smile and hug as I sat in ceremony, prayer or meal. We are intense Spirit seekers with a thirst to touch Divine. From these journeys I found a Family that is Large and varied as the flowers in a meadow.

Here we go to the other side presented in physical form as drought. I would say this is a Soul drought! Even those who have awakened there have been impacts that have shaken our very core. What is coming to surface are the deep Angst of humans. The community has been fractured by drought, self un-realizing and resentment to all others! All I can say is “OUCH”! WE are disrespectful of all other beliefs, fearful and demanding for Our Own Way! “Ouch again. I too have slid into the depth of this toxic pool. It took again surrender of self, completely letting go of all ideas and even belongings and again floating in the abyss. To rise to the surface for a gasp of air and the shedding of this control collar put on me by whom? I call them The Other, those who consume with no gratitude.

Here are some of the physical symptoms we are having, unrelenting body pain, severe bone pain, sleeplessness, nightmares, brain freeze, forgetfulness, is this sounding familiar? And the emotional pain is breaking many of us. Leaving us in fragments and pieces of forgetful hopelessness. Many of us think we have forever lost our mind. Once we get to the bottom and become empty, a vessel with no desire or will we slowly rise to the surface to find the storm over and the sky clear. In the “Alchemist”by Paolo Coelo there is a quote I always refer to even in the depth of despair.

When you step upon the path the universe will do everything in it’s power to assist you.”.

Simply let go,  forgive yourself and others and shine on through the dark. We will arrive home full of Beauty.   Growing every day in The Beauty Way with Jannie
