A Little About Director Vlad Yudin:
In 2008, Yudin became partners with Edwin Mejia to form The Vladar Company and produce various feature and documentary projects, including “Big Pun: The Legacy” and “Last Day of Summer.” Yudin worked with Big Pun’s widow Liza Rios and the Big Pun Estate to release “Big Pun: The Legacy” in 2009 through Vivendi Universal. The release, details the short-lived career and life of Christopher Rios AKA Big Pun, a Latin-American music artist who rose to fame from a life of adversity.

While working on Film/Music projects, Yudin worked with numerous high profile artists and actors, such as Snoop Dogg, Rosie Perez, Ne-Yo, Method Man, Scott Storch and many more. Vlad later helped form a partnership with Sony Music Entertainment that produced the soundtrack album to “Big Pun: The Legacy” titled “The Legacy: The Best of Big Pun” for The Vladar Company and was released by Sony Music Entertainment in 2009. Vlad Yudin later wrote, produced and directed his debut feature film titled “Last Day Of Summer” starring Nikki Reed from the popular Hollywood franchise, Twilight, DJ Qualls (Hustle & Flow, Road Trip) and William Sadler (Die Hard 2, The Shawshank Redemption) for The Vladar Company. The film had its theatrical release on September 17th, 2010 with Entertainment One.
He recently directed the Horror/Sci-Fi/Thriller “Catskill Park” which is currently in post for The Vladar Company and most recently directed award winning film, “Generation Iron,” the bodybuilding docu-drama produced by Jerome Gary (Pumping Iron). With a full production slate for 2014, Yudin is also expected to direct HEAD SMASH, the Sci-Fi, Action/Thriller based on a Graphic Novel by Arcana Studio and produce the adaptation to C.C Humphrey’s historical fiction novel, THE FRENCH EXECUTIONER with Mark Huffam (Producer of ‘Game of Thrones’) in 2014. Vlad continues to work with various studio labels like Sony Music and EMI Music to create more Film/Music oriented projects, set to be released in a variety of distribution platforms. In 2010, he was responsible for structuring an exclusive partnership with Sony Music and EMI Music, which will help promote the labels music catalogue through Film and Video. It comes as no surprise that Vlad Yudin is one of the few prominent Russian directors and producers in the US market.
